Messages of condolences have poured in for the teenager’s family.
An 18-year-old who died three days after a road crash in Armagh has been named locally as Daniel McCallister.
From the Tandragee area, the teenager passed away in hospital on Wednesday afternoon (18 September) from injuries sustained following a collision on the Cladymilltown Road on the evening of the previous Sunday.
This was when two vehicles – a blue Volkswagen Jetta driven by Daniel and a blue Volkswagen Touran – collided.
The other driver remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Mr. McCallister’s death notice on the Funeral Times website reads:

“Lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his father, mother and his loving family.”
Markethill High School, where Daniel was once a student, extended its “deepest condolences” to his family in a social media post.
“On behalf of the entire Markethill High School family, we wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the McCallister family following the loss of their dear son and brother, Daniel, who left us in 2022,” it reads.
