Ireland’s most eligible bachelor thinks he could be the luckiest man in the world…if only he could find the right girl.

Irish bad boy Colin Farrell has had a string of romances, including a short marriage to actress Amelia Warner and relationships with the mothers of his two boys, Kim Bordenave and Alicja Bachleda.

But the ‘Total Recall’ actor, who also had a fling with Trinity student Muireann McDonnell, is currently back on the market and says he is looking for a long-term partner this time.

The Dubliner, 36, told the Irish Sun he has plenty of love in his life but he is looking for a romantic love now.

“I’ve got plenty of love in my life in the form of good friends and my two beautiful sons. Of course, if it [a romantic relationship] happened and it was healthy and good, I’d be the happiest man on the planet. If it happens, happy days. I’d be open to it. I’ve experienced quite a bit of romantic love in my life and I hope I’ll experience it again.

“But I’m not desperate for it right now. I’m cool right now. But if it came up tomorrow, I’d be so up for it man!”

Colin returns to the Irish capital this week as he prepares for the Irish ‘Total Recall’ premiere.

The proud Irishman convinced his fellow stars Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel to attend the premiere on Tuesday with director Les Wiseman.

Yesterday, Colin spent the day at Trinity College where he was interviewed by Ryan Tubridy for ‘The Trinity Sessions’ which will be broadcast later on this year on RTÉ.

For all the classical musical lovers, Colin revealed he had to learn a piano piece for the new movie, ‘Total Recall’. He said he saw it on the script, picked a piece from ‘The Tempest’ and had an instructor call to his house to teach him the music.

The 30-year-old isn’t the tabloid sensation he used to be in earlier days when he was dating Britney Spears. He has replaced alcohol and drugs with rituals like yoga that keep him focused on what is important in his life.

Colin is living in LA permanently now as both his boys live there with their mums. He said he is twenty miles from his oldest son and only three miles from his youngest son.

“It really is great,” he added.
