Fashion designer L’wren Scott has been found dead in her apartment in Manhattan – police have said that they do not suspect foul play.
The girlfriend of rocker Mick Jagger, it’s said that her body was discovered by her assistant at approximately 10am.
According to New York Daily News, the celebrated fashion designer was found hanged to death in an apparent suicide, police said.
A spokesman for Mick Jagger said that the singer was “completely shocked and devastated” by her death.
Scott began her career as a model in Paris and went on to pose for the likes of Chanel, before moving to California. She establishing herself as a well sought-after celebrity stylist and designer.
The fashion designer launched her first collection “Little Black Dress” in 2006. The couple have been together since 2001.
