It is being reported that shots have been fired in Dublin this afternoon.
The incident seemingly happened on the Kylemore Road area of Ballyfermot.
Gardaí are currently on the scene where a firearm was also seized, reports thesun.ie.
There are no reports of any injuries.

Independent.ie reports that armed police were forced to open fire when a vehicle “failed to stop in west Dublin”.
Her has been in contact with An Gardaí Siochána and is awaiting a more detailed statement.
