Emergency services, including firefighters from Tallaght, Dolphin's Barn and Tara Street, responded to a fire in the Kylemore area.
The emergency services have advised people in the affected area to keep their doors and windows closed.
In a statement, Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Traffic restrictions are in place in the Kylemore area as Firefighters from Tallaght, Dolphins Barn and Tara Street respond to an Industrial Fire," Dublin Fire Brigade has said.
"If you live in the area and are affected by smoke, please keep your doors and windows closed."
This follows a fire in the IFSC area of Dublin city yesterday, which led to the closure of the Luas red line past Connolly station towards The Point.
