Sherlock actor, Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, Sophie Hunter have become parents for the second time.

The Mail Online reports that the couple had a baby boy in early March.

The new arrival will be a baby brother for Christopher Carlton who will turn two in June.

It’s believed they named the newborn Hal Auden Cumberbatch – a nod to their shared love of the literary world.

Hal is the nickname given to Hanry V in William Shakespeare’s play of the same name while Auden is a celebrated poet W.H.Auden, best known for his poem at the funeral service in Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Benedict and Sophie got married in 2015 after meeting on the set of Burlesque Fairytales in 2009.
