The video has circulated online.
Beaumont Hospital has released a statement about a video that has been doing the rounds online of a nurse and doctor taking part in sexual acts.
In the video, the man is seen holding his phone up against a mirror. There is also a photo accompanying the video of a group of nurses and doctors, and its caption states that the doctor is married.
However, Beaumont Hospital has released a statement to Dublin Live, saying that the two people in the video have nothing to do with the hospital.
A spokesperson said:
“Beaumont Hospital understands that images and video material has been circulated online that purports to show staff from the hospital behaving in an inappropriate manner.
“This material did not originate in Beaumont. Beaumont Hospital management states categorically and emphatically that the individuals depicted are not in any way connected with the organisation, now or at any point in the past.
“It is regrettable that this material has been linked with Beaumont Hospital, causing unnecessary concern for patients, families and staff.”
