“We are aware that payments to some accounts have been delayed this morning,” the statement read.
“We are working to resolve this and we are providing updates to customers throughout the morning. “We apologise for any inconvenience.”
In replies to some of their customers, the bank revealed that it appears to be “credits from other banks that are delayed” and that they “don’t have a time frame at the moment” for when the problem will be resolved.
They added that they will update customers via Twitter and their other online channels. A number of customers took to Twitter this morning to express their annoyance with the glitch.
