Sometimes, things really make you wonder and nothing had us scratching our heads more than US TV show host, Joe Kernen who was interviewing the CEO of IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan on Monday.
Kernen is a host of a show about finance, yet showed that perhaps he needs to brush up on his world economy as he proved during the interview that he did not know Ireland’s position in terms of what currency is used here or indeed, the economic relationship Ireland has with the UK.
Martin Shanahan holds his own in the face of some truly boggling questions about the economic position of Ireland.
