Author Jackie Collins Has Died At The Age Of 77

Popular author Jackie Collins has died at the age of 77. Best known for her Hollywood Wives novel among many others, she passed away in Los Angeles after a battle with breast cancer. The bestselling writer wrote 32 novels packed full of the glamour and affairs of Hollywood. Her sister, Dame Joan Collins stated: “She was my best friend. I admire how she handled this." Jackie was a bestselling author. “She was a wonderful, brave and a beautiful person and I love her.” A statement released by her family read: “It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one of a kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today." She was an inspiration to many female writers. “She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who she has been entertaining over four decades. “She was a true inspiration, a trail blazer for women in fiction and a creative force. She will live on through her characters but we already miss her beyond words.” Tributes have been flooding in for the popular author online.
