Adelaide isn't the only location that has broken records though, as more than 13 towns across South Australia have broken their own heat records in the last two weeks. Port Augusta has recorded a max temperature of 49.1C, while Whyalla has gone up to 48.5C. The Bureau has said that it has been hotter and drier than average which has been partially to do with climate change.
