The Army Bomb Disposal Unit has removed a viable bomb device from a construction site in Dublin.
The alert was raised about the device last night at 7.30pm last night and the unit attended the site in Poppintree in Ballymun, where the bomb was found to be viable.
According to RTÉ, several buildings were evacuated while the device was investigated and it was later moved to a military location before being made safe shortly after 8.30pm.
