If you happened to stop off to play the Lotto in Newbridge in Co.Kildare last night, you might have woken up a millionaire.
It has been confirmed that the winning €10.2million ticket was sold in Jordan’s Centra in Curragh Grange yesterday evening.
Although store manager John Murray doesn’t know who has been granted a new-found fortune, he could confirm that the winning Lotto ticket was played with chosen number, and not a quickpick.
Speaking about the run of luck, John said:
“Speculation if rife, the atmosphere in the shop is fantastic – we’re absolutely delighted.
“We hope that it was somebody in the area … it would be great if it was one of the residents in the estate. And if not, best of luck to whoever it was that won it.”
We’re delighted for them too… and not jealous at all. Not in the slightest. Not one little bit…
