An Irish man has died following an explosion in Perth, Western Australia.
He was one of two people killed in the explosion that took place at the local Galleria shopping centre.
The explosion occurred near an electrical transformer in the area.
Two other men are reported to be in a critical condition in hospital.

Police Inspector Rob Harrison stated, “We believe that they were possibly working within that transformer area of the shopping centre.”
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs has stated that consular assistance is being provided to the Irish man’s family.
