Aer Lingus has cancelled eight flights between Ireland and airports in London today due to the density of fog in the UK capital.

According to reports, flights into Heathrow and Gatwick were subject to significant delays due to the adverse weather conditions and some services were cancelled.

Those intending to travel are also advised to watch out for new updates from the airline on social media.
