Yet another weather warning.
Following earlier wind and ice warnings, a rainfall alert has been issued for the following five counties – Donegal, Galway, Sligo, Mayo and Leitrim.
Then national forecaster says that heavy thundery downpours are expected over the next 24 hours, potentially leading to rainfall accumulation of 30 to 50mm.
This warning is now in place and will last until 1 pm tomorrow alongside the snow-ice warning which is in operation for the entire country until 8 pm tomorrow evening.

As you may have noticed, the weather is miserable today with rain, hail, sleet and snow at various periods throughout the day.
Drivers are urged to take extra care as the above conditions can lead to accumulations of ice on untreated surfaces.
It’s also very chilly in some areas so if you’re commuting later this evening, wrap up warm. We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again, be careful out there folks.
