A man in his 20s has died after a work place accident.
He was working on a wall on Parnell St in Waterford City centre when it collapsed and killed him.
The incident took place at approximately 4pm yesterday.
He was later taken to University Hospital Waterford but was pronounced dead on arrival.
According to RTÉ, the Gardaí and Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation.
