Six Separate Stabbing Incidents Took Place in Dublin on Halloween Night

Twenty-one-year-old Lorcan Rooney has died following a stabbing that occurred on Saturday night in the city centre. 

It is believed that Lorcan attempted to break up a fight outside the Oliver Bond Flats, South Inner City. Gardaí are seeking information about a 15-year-old boy they believed to be linked to the crime. The teen possibly connected to gangland figure “Fat” Freddie Thompson.

No arrests have been made.

The incident is one of six stabbings reported to Gardaí on Saturday night.

In another incident happened in Blanchardstown, a 22-year-old man has been left in critical condition.

Another 25-year-old man was discovered with serious stab wounds and other injuries, when Gardaí were called to break up a fight in Clarehall, North Dublin.

In a separate incident, a 31-year-old man was stabbed in Darndale around 3am Sunday morning. He has been left with non-life threatening injuries.

In another attack, a teen was stabbed in the A&E department of Beaumount Hospital.

His injuries are believed to be linked to a family feud.
