It all makes sense now.
"You know I've recorded a lot," the Pursuit of Happiness actor told Hollyscoop.
"I've recorded a lot. I don't have anything I like yet, but I've probably recorded seven or eight [songs]. It's not for certain, it's just explorative.”
Smith, who released his fourth studio LP 'Lost and Found' 10 years ago, previously said that he was in a "creative ceiling" and unsure of what he was doing.
"My son tells me I have to write out the things I don't like. I can't write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out. I've never worked like that before but I think I might give that a shot."
We're not entirely sure how we feel about this collaboration but one thing that we do now is... this is an absolute TUNE.
