Following in the footsteps of the likes of Celine Dion and Shania Twain, Britney Spears is the latest star to confirm a Las Vegas residency.
The singer has confirmed the news today in Shape magazine, which she also graces the cover of.
“The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple—they’ll be a massive party from start to finish,” says Spears. “And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”
Spears is reportedly setting up base in Planet Hollywood and will take on the residency in Caesar’s Palace, according to Billboard.
The singer is reportedly working on her eighth studio album, which will.i.am is rumoured to be producing.
More details of the shows, and how many there will be, is expected to be announced the end of this month.
