Lady Gaga is one of those stars that is incredibly dedicated to her fan base but yesterday she had to deliver some bad news to them.
The quirky pop star took to Twitter to tell her Little Monsters that she is postponing a number of concert dates in America and Canada due to a serious joint inflammation.
She wrote: “There’s an unfortunate announcement coming out right not, concerning myself and the Born This Ball. Im so sorry. I barely know what to say [sic].”
Lady Gaga has revealed that she has been struggling with an injury for the last month.
Gaga told of how she had continued with the pain for a matter of weeks before finally admitting it to her staff.
“I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month is has worsened. I’ve been praying it would heal.
“I hid it from my staff, I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last night’s performance I could not walk and still can’t [sic].”
The singer was clearly upset about having to postpone the dates.
The performances that are due to be postponed are those between February 13th (today) and February 17th.
The remaining dates of the tour are expected to continue as planned and the rescheduled dates will be announced at a later date.
