Travis Oaks is an Irish four-piece that after one just one listen you will not be forgetting in a hurry.
The fairly newly established band consists of Aran McGillick, Killian McCourt, Taran Plouzane and Mike Paterson, and the lads released their brand new debut music video for track ‘Last Love Song’ to kick off the bank holiday weekend.
Travis Oaks’ music is steeped in the sound of dirty old blues rock, with many modern influences such as Arctic Monkeys, QOTSA, The Black Keys, however this track has us reminiscing about our much-loved (and missed) early White Stripes days.
Frontman Mike Paterson explains the idea behind the spectacularly vivid craziness within the video: “Little Beast have imagined something special here and the only reason all of this exists is because of the kindness of all those who helped us, and saw in us something that we could only hope was there.
“I think it’s very easy to see all of that hard work and dedication by the whole team as soon as the video starts to play”.
Watch the video in full below, we expect great things from this blues-rock quartet.
