The sun is shining and all we can really think of doing here in the Her.ie offices is making good use of the nearest beer garden, kicking back with a cold beverage and playing some summer tunes.
One band that is essential to the playlist is English alternative rockers, Elbow, and thanks to the combination of three Dublin choral groups, their hit track, ‘One Day Like This‘, has been given some special treatment.
Under the watchful eye of Choir Director, Roisin Savage, Stillorgan based community choir, Line-Up, joined forces with their sister choir, The Soulful, and recruited members of the RTÉ Staff Choir to give the Elbow anthem a very different twist.
The video was shot ahead of the band’s gig at Dublin’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham next week.
This is not the first time Line-Up have graced the pages of Her.ie, earlier in the year we posted their fantastic rendition of Foo Fighters’‘The Pretender’.
