Irish music talent was well represented in New York this week…
Lucky concert-goers are still buzzing after U2’s 3 arena gigs last week, but it’s no rest for the wicked as the lads jetted off to New York to take part in a special Carnegie Hall gig to mark World AIDs Day.
They joined forces with Miley Cyrus, Jessie J and even our own Hozier to create a gig that brought down the house and all for a great cause.

Speaking about the night Bono said: “This is a celebration. This is an instigation. This is a provocation. This is not a charity concert.”
On the night, Miley Cyrus said: “I just turned 23, and as a baby I know I will live in an AIDS-free world one day.”
Jessie J performed a show-stopping version of Purple Rain before they all joined forces for a stunning rendition of One.
