1999 – ATB – 9PM Till I Come… We remember it like it was yesterday…
2000 – The Real Slim Shady – Eminem
2001 – Knocking Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Pink, Mya & Missy Elliot from the top spot, U2 charted numero uno with Elevation.
2002 – Six (that band Nadine Coyle ruined) were knocked off by our favourite bleached blonde German, Scooter with The Logical Song… The patron cow.
10 Years ago…
2003 – Beyoncé and Jay-Z (back when he still had his hyphen) were Crazy In Love for 4 weeks…
2004 – Britney’s Everytime was replaced at the top of the charts with The Streets – Dry Your Eyes Mate… Don’t tell us what to do Skinner!
2005 – James Blunt (we resisted the urge to alter that surname slightly) held the top spot for 4 consecutive weeks with You’re Beautiful… We know James, we know.
2006 – Shakira’s hips didn’t lie for 9 weeks on the trot… We remember putting on our metallic eye shadow and dancing in our bedrooms to this one!
2007 – After 8 weeks at number 1, Rihanna and her Umbrella were given the boot by Fergie with Big Girls Don’t Cry… It was a short stay and Timbaland’s – The Way I Are claimed the top spot.

2008 – Basshunter – All I Ever Wanted… Classic.
2009 – The Black Eyed Peas had a feeling for 6 weeks straight…
2010 – We love they way they lied – Eminem ft. Rihanna.
