It’s been the name on everyone’s lips for months now, but it’s finally official. Firework singer Katy Perry will headline the 2015 Superbowl Half Time Show.
The Superbowl is one of the most watched sporting events on the planet and the half-time show is invariably a ratings hit. In recent years acts like Bruno Mars, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna and Beyoncé have all taken to the stage to strut their stuff.

Perry confirmed the news via Twitter yesterday, her tweet coinciding with the drop of a promotional video from show sponsors Pepsi.
