Popular singer Phil Collins is planning to make a comeback on to the music scene much to the delight of his loyal legion of fans worldwide.
The singer, who hasn’t released any new material since 2002, has revealed this week that he’s not ready to say farewell to the stage just yet.
“My kids are now 10 and 14 and they want to see what their dad does,” he said.
“They were in nappies when I was last on the road. They love my music and I’d like to take them out so they can enjoy it.”
“I’m no longer officially retired,” he added to Rolling Stone.
“The horse is out of the stable and I’m raring to go.”
He previously featured in a Genesis reunion tour in 2007, along with a collection of Motown covers in 2010 called Going Back.
Fans are thrilled as it has also been reported that he’s planning a new tour.
Here’s what Twitter had to make of it all.
