The Sunday Sessions Christmas Special: We Cut Corners – Stop The Cavalry

A spectacular cover of Jona Lewie’s 1980 hit.

Her

Her.ie and JOE’s Sunday Sessions Christmas special is almost over but we’re closing it with absolute classics.

For the last three weeks we’ve brought you incredible Christmas cover tracks from some of the country’s up-and-coming acts, song 11 comes courtesy of brilliant duo We Cut Corners.

Conall O’Breachain and John Duignan have been writing songs for over twelve years and released album Think Nothing earlier in the year to a slew of very favourable reviews and slayed a packed Electric Arena at Electric Picnic.

Song 11 is a spectacular cover of Jona Lewie’s 1980 hit ‘Stop The Cavalry’. We Cut Corners has released the single digitally with all proceeds from iTunes downloads going towards First Fortnight.

First Fortnight is a charity-based organisation with the expressed aim of challenging mental health prejudice through the creative arts. Click here to buy the single now.
