Chart-toppers The Saturdays will perform a special once-off show on Thursday, 28th March 2013 at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, for a very good cause.
Una Healy and co will take to the stage in the energy company’s second annual event in aid of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. All proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Bord Gáis Energy will match the amount for every ticket sold.
Commenting on the show, Una Healy of The Saturdays said: “We are very excited about performing at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for this special event. It’s fantastic that Bord Gáis Energy is supporting the Society of the St Vincent de Paul which does really great work in communities throughout Ireland. I always love performing at home and to know that this concert is for such a good cause will make the night extra special. We can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Dave Kirwan, managing director, Bord Gáis Energy said: “We are delighted to confirm The Saturdays show in aid of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Last year’s Bill Bailey event was a great success, raising €200,000, and we are confident that we’ll raise a similar donation this year.
Tickets for the special charity show are priced from €20 – €35 and will go on presale to Bord Gáis Energy customers today (Wednesday 13th February) via www.bordgaisenergyrewards.ie. Tickets will go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster from Friday 15th February.
