Girl Band The Saturdays Go Their Separate Ways

The girl band have reportedly called it a day

The Saturdays are reported to have called it a day after eight years together.

According to reports the girl band have gone their separate ways despite still being signed to record label Polydor.

Three of the girls are planning to launch solo careers.

But they’re not all going to be taking a break from the spotlight with Una Foden, Mollie King and Vanessa planning on launching their solo careers.

A source told The Mirror: “Una, Mollie and Vanessa are already excited and a bit nervous about releasing their solo material, but it’s been a long time in the pipeline.”

They have been performing together for eight years.

The insider added: “The girls are still a band, but they’re all happy to work on their own solo projects. It means there’s no animosity or frustration between them – it’s a set-up which works really well.”

The group has had a number of chart hits including Up, IssuesWhat About Us and Ego.
