We’re ridiculously excited about this.
Adele sent fans into meltdown last weekend as she teased a clip of what was rumoured to be a preview of her new album.
Adele won the Best Original Song award for ‘Skyfall’ in 2013.
The clip was teased during a commercial break for the X Factor and didn’t give away too many clues about what’s to come, but was enough to get us all extremely excited about the new album.
Now, the Rumour Has It singer has revealed that the new album, which is a follow-on from her multi-award winning 21, will be released on November 20th and will be called 25.
The singer shared the news on Twitter and Instagram along with the comment: “I’m so bloody excited!!” In another post on Twitter, she gave fans an insight into the thought process behind her new album.

“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record.
“I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.
“What’s done is done,” the statement continued. “Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties.”

“Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult.
“I made the decision to go into becoming who I’m going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk.
She later added: “25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realising. And I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.”
So there you have it – there’s now less than one month to go… The countdown is officially on!
