Is it just us or does Josh Groban look like the kind of fella you’d love to have around?
He’s funny, cute, talented, Oprah loves him (so you might get to meet her too, SCORE!) and if ever you were down he could sing you back to a happy place. Super person to bring along to a house party too. He might even nab you a cameo while filming one of his many film and TV show appearances – did you know he’s been in all of these shows?

Crazy Stupid Love
In this hit 2011 movie Groban played Richard, the nerdy boyfriend of Emma Stone’s Hannah. He gets passed over for Ryan Gosling in the film, for which we really can’t blame Hannah… (Gosling is especially pretty in this flick), but Josh takes the chance to really show off his acting chops as the uber-annoying other half.
CSI: NY
Earlier this month Josh played himself in the Valentine’s Day episode of CSI: NY. Naturally, it being CSI, there wasn’t a happy ending for all concerned (it would have been quite a dull episode if there were…), but at least Mac and Christine got to enjoy the vocal stylings of Groban on their date.
Glee
Talk about outshining your co-stars… Josh has twice appeared on the hit TV show, way back in season one when he came to see the Acafellas at the invite of Sandy Ryerson, but really only to deliver a restraining order. But he did love the Glee club. He was back for another episode, ‘Journey’ to serve as one of the judges for regionals, alongside Sue Sylvester… and Olivia Newton John. He voted against the New Directions though. Boo.
Ally McBeal
Back when it all began! We first fell in love with Robert Downey Jr. when he appeared in the legal comedy/drama, but the series also introduced us to the amazing voice of a young Josh Groban. Groban appeared in the 2001 series finale, months before his debut album had even hit the shelves. He was so popular that show producers were inundated with letters, (how old school!), and Josh was brought back to reprise his role the following season.
The Office
Josh has appeared twice in the US version of The Office, playing Walter Jr., the younger brother of Andy, played by Ed Helms. Initially appearing as the golden child of the family in 2011, Josh’s character reappeared in 2012 as a drunk who had fallen from grace. Trivia note – it only took a single tweet from one of the shows stars and creators, Mindy Kaling, to convince him to appear. Think he might visit us if we chance tweeting him too?
