To be honest, if Chris Brown and Rihanna want to give their relationship another try, that’s up to them but surely performing together at the Grammy awards this year is a step too far.
According to Radar Online Brown wants to join his rumoured girlfriend onstage at the event where she is due to perform next month.
Now you might be thinking what’s the big deal? After all, they have recorded two duets together and are said to have rekindled their romance.
But it was at a Grammy pre-party that Brown assaulted the Diamonds star four years ago which makes it a somewhat sensitive issue.
Rihanna and Chris Brown could end up performing together if he has his way.
A source told the site: “Chris wants to perform with Rihanna at the Grammys to show the whole world they are back together.” (Think they’ve done that already with all those snaps!)
The insider added: “Chris doesn’t care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over-the-top performance with Rihanna.”
“He wants the fans to know this is the real deal, and he is a changed man… If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago.”
The couple are said to be giving their romance another go.
Even so, the event organisers are said to have called it a “delicate situation” and are contemplating the backlash they could receive because of the duet. Then again, they are aware that it could be the very thing that viewers tune in to see.
Either way, Chris Brown and Rihanna have managed to make it into the headlines again today…
