Talk About Evils: Styles Up for Best Villain

The NME nominations are out and we have to say that one in particular made us smile.

He might be getting back with his girlfriend but Harry Styles has been nominated for Villain of the Year at this year’s NME Awards.

The teen heartthrob will go up against David Cameron, Skrillex, Psy, Fred Macpherson and Azealia Banks for the title.

To add insult to injury One Direction are in with a chance of taking home the Worst Band award. The boys are up against Muse, Mumford & Sons, Alt-J, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran.

 

One Direction have received a nod for Worst Band at this year’s NME awards.

On a more serious note The Rolling Stones are up for a total of four awards including Best Live Band, Best Book, Music Moment of the Year and Best Music Film.

Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Vaccines, Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees and The Cribs will battle it out for Best British Band.

Up for Best International Band are The Killers, Tame Impala, The Black Keys, Odd Future, Crystal Castles and Foo Fighters.

 

The latest James Bond instalment, Skyfall, is also up for an award.

On the film and television front Breaking Bad, Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy, Fresh Meat, Sherlock, The Thick Of It and Doctor Who are all up for Best TV Show.

Best Film will be contested by The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Ted, iLL Manors, The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
