Digital music service Spotify has compiled a list of the most common misheard lyrics. Elton John’s Tiny Dancer made the list, no doubt thanks to the comedy character’s gaff.
Spotify compiled the list by asking music fans which songs they most commonly hear people singing incorrectly, and also asked about the most annoying situations for a lyrical mishap to occur in. Concerts topped the list, followed closely by karaoke.
Five per cent of those surveyed claimed that they never get lyrics wrong. Liars.
