They may have topped charts in countries around the world, but it seems as though One Direction are still looking to the UK for musical inspiration.

The band, who are now a four-piece since Zayn Malik’s departure, are currently working on a new album which they believe has a sound similar to that of a certain famous rock band.
“The new album is a bit Oasis-y,” explained Liam Payne.
We wonder what Oasis think of that…
“The songs have come out a bit more chilled,” he added, while speaking to Capital Radio.
Hmm we wonder what the Gallagher brothers think of that… they may well look back in anger (sorry, we couldn’t resist).
