Yes, you read that headline correctly. TV show host Noel Edmonds has released a new dance track that appears to use Deal or No Deal as its inspiration.
The club anthem titled, “Are you Ready?” is the first track to be released by Edmonds in 20 years and was shared under the name Candice Cannes, the name of the mannequin he drives with in his private taxi to stop people flagging it down.
The techno track features some well known catchphrases from Deal or No Deal including, “Are you ready for the question?” and some giggly lines like “I hope it’s a big one” and “What’s in your box?”
Edmonds told The Sun that his wife Liz Davies was the driving force behind the track which was remixed by DJ Mark Loverush.
“I recorded a few lines but Liz is the brains behind it. I decided to bounce it off a few experts to see what the reaction was. That’s how it started” he said.
“Liz was adamant it wasn’t under her name as she didn’t want to be seen as hanging off my coat-tails” he continued. Have a listen:
This is Edmonds’ first hit record since he teamed up with Mr Blobby to get to the top of the charts, and we all of course remember that tune:
