“No Sideboob or Bum Crack!” CBS Issues Celebs Strict Wardrobe Guidelines Ahead of The Grammys

The broadcaster has warned all of the talent appearing on camera during the ceremony to tame down their choice of wardrobe...

Her

Justin Timberlake, Adele and Taylor Swift are all set to make an appearance at the 2013 Grammy Awards but do you know what won’t be making an appearance? Sideboob, bum crack and that ‘puffy bare skin’ around your hoo-hah. Good to know, right?

Hollywood entertainment website Deadline.com obtained an email yesterday from CBS Standard and Pratice, outlining the television network’s “policy concerning wardrobe” for the Grammys.

The email states that the policy bans everything from “brand name products” to “female breast nipples” (we wonder how Lady Gaga will cope with these strict new rules?)

Anyway, Here is a snippet from the email:

Date: February 5, 2013, 10:39:56 PM EST Subject: 55th GRAMMYS: Standard And Practice Wardrobe Advisory

-kindly confirm receipt of s&p standards-

***GRAMMYS 2013***

CBS Programme Practices advises that all talent appearing on camera please adhere to Network policy concerning wardrobe.

Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under-curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under-curature of the breasts is also problematic.

Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible ‘puffy bare skin exposure.’”

Oh and we should probably mention that this policy also extends to any audience members who may appear on camera, however briefly.

We imagine there are currently a LOT of upset celebrities desperately trying to rethink their wardrobe choices ahead of  the awards on Sunday night.
