Fans have been eagerly awaiting an update… us included.
It’s been five years since one of our favourite boy bands broke up. Yes, back in 2013 hearts broke across the globe as the Jonas Brothers announced they were going their separate ways.
And while we’ve been getting an influx of Jonas jams in the form of Nick’s solo career and Joe’s new band, DNCE, we’ve missed the trio that gave us classic hits like SOS.
However, a glimmer of hope sent fans into overdrive when the group’s official Instagram page was revived to share a picture of the brothers together on a boat.
Cue fans across the globe going wild.
But it seems our hopes have been dashed as Nick commented on the speculation at the Grammys last night telling E! News:
“We hung out for a weekend all together, but I can tell you right now there’s no reunion planned.”
However, Nick left the door open to Jonas Brothers 2.0, saying:
“But never say never. You never know what’s gonna happen.”
While fans were rightly devasted at the news, we can’t help but hold of out some hope for a reunion further down the line.
