A new song which is said to feature former One Direction star Zayn Malik has been released online much to the delight of fans.

The song, which is a cover of Rae Stremmurd’s No Type, was released via Soundcloud by rapper MIC Righteous, who is also featured on the track.

However its release has provoked controversy, as Naughty Boy has denied that he had anything to do with it and has hit out at MIC Righteous for releasing it.

The song was later deleted from Soundcloud before being re-uploaded, with the rapper  stating on Facebook; “Mental my own publisher gets my music removed from my soundcloud lol, that’s why I lost respect for them [sic],” he wrote.

“Zayn wants the tune out, he ask me to be on the song, shah (naughtyboy) told me that his label wont let him release any music for the next two yrs… so you know what I did? I did it for him, for you. And at the end of the day they cant say no to me, I work for the people not the industry [sic].”

The song was later posted to YouTube.
