Singer Mariah Carey has confirmed the release date for her new single.
The pop star revealed that the new tune would be released on February 14th, 2014, during an appearance on New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.
This will be the third cut from her new album The Art of Letting Go. The album was scheduled to go on sale last July but Carey delayed the album because she wanted to perfect the music before its release.
“While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23,” Carey tweeted at the time.
“I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs. I want to give you this album as it’s meant to be heard. When I’m ready, you’ll be the first 2 know!”
