Lady Gaga has confirmed that there will be a sequel to her 2010 hit “Telephone.”
“I’m very excited about it” Gaga told Kiss FM.
“The Telephone video and working with Jonas Akerlund – for Paparazzi as well – was such an incredible experience. To finish this trilogy will be great as I know how much the fans want it. We’ve already written it, so it’s going to be fantastic.”
Telephone was seen to be as somewhat of a mini-movie when it was released. Performed with Beyoncé, the music video followed a Thelma and Louise style theme to it and was full of sub-scenes and product placement.
The singer also said that she would be performing the song at her set at London’s Roundhouse on September 1st.
Will Beyoncé make another appearance? Who knows. The new song will feature on her upcoming album ARTPOP.
