They might not have won, or even gotten to the final, but that hasn’t stopped this X Factor act from signing a record deal.
That’s right, Ella Henderson has put pen to paper and signed a deal with music giants Sony according to reports today.
Ella might have gone out of the competition early but she is doing very well.
The 16-year-old singer, who came sixth on this year’s show, has agreed a deal after being pursued by a number of labels including Simon Cowell’s label Syco.
And she’s not the only one with something to celebrate. James Arthur claimed the number one spot while runner-up Jahmene Douglas has recorded a version of Silent Night for an online Asda advertisement.
Jahmene has already gotten his first job since his time on the show.
It might have done badly this year in terms of ratings but it seems that X Factor can still produce talent!
