Indiana Announces Show At The Workman’s Club Dublin

If pure and intellectual pop music is you're thing, this is one show you cannot miss.

Her

Lauren Henson, who goes by the stage name Indiana, is one British singer-songwriter that is flourishing to the forefront of new genre of pop music, one with a growing rejection of the excessive electro hooks, novelty gimmicks and hyper-sexualisation.

The Nottingham lady has just announced a Dublin gig date and will be taking to the stage of The Workman’s Club on May 17th.

Her voice grasped the attention of John Beck, after he discovered the, then 24-year-old, Mum-of-two on YouTube.

Expecting to click in to watch the female rendition of his track ‘Gabriel‘ and snigger, the songwriter and producer was blown away by her balladic cover.

Indiana is releasing her eagerly anticipated debut album No Romeo February 2nd.

Indiana doesn’t write formulaic love songs, her ability to pen story-telling lyrics is unparalleled.  If pure and intellectual pop music is you’re thing, this is one show you cannot miss.

Tickets for The Workman’s gig go on pre-sale January 28th from indianathegirl.com, and on general sale January 30th. Tickets are priced €13 (including booking fee).
