From one gentleman to another.
Wicklow man Hozier has just paid fellow Irish artist Gavin James the ultimate compliment this week.
The Dublin singer has released his debut album, Bitter Pill, and while we’ve long been fans of his soaring vocals, it looks like we’re not the only one.
Hozier took to Twitter to congratulate him on the release, and added that Gavin James is the “owner-operator of one of the most remarkable voices Ireland has”.
Huge congrats to @GavinJames on the release of his debut album Bitter Pill. Owner-operator of one of the most remarkable voices Ireland has.

No argument from us there Hozier.
Indeed, 2015 has been a massive year for Gavin James, having supported Ed Sheeran at Croke Park and opened for Sam Smith and Taylor Swift at their gigs in the States and in London respectively.
With more gigs announced in Ireland for early 2016, and with a headline tour of Europe and the US on the horizon next week, it’s definitely not the last we’ve heard of this amazing singer.
