Music legend Sting is headed for Ireland this summer as he has announced an Irish date for his upcoming Back to Bass world tour.
The Fields of Gold singer is due to perform some of his greatest hits at the Marquee in Cork on July 1st.
Sting revealed that he will be playing in Cork as part of his world tour.
And Sting isn’t the only big name music star headed for the popular venue as both Sir Elton John and Christy Moore have confirmed dates for the Marquee as well.
We don’t know what it is but something tells us it’s going to be a good year for gigs!
Sir Elton John is another familiar face headed for the Marquee this year.
