They have been going at each other on Twitter over the last few months and now it has been revealed that The Wanted want to settle their rivalry with One Direction with a fight.
Apparently Jay McGuinness from The Wanted said that it would be the best way to settle things. Makes sense we suppose. After all, talking things over and apologising is way too overrated these days.
The Wanted and One Direction have been exchanging jibes on Twitter recently.
He told the Daily Star: “It’d have to be a pub brawl, wouldn’t it? And we wouldn’t be doing any of that fancy fighting. It’s not like we know kung fu or anything. We’d just do what boys do.” Exactly, what boys do!
His band mate Max George (the one who allegedly cheated on Michelle Keegan and was linked to Lindsay Lohan) also implied that they would win the brawl hands down before adding that he thinks Harry Styles and co fancy them.
“I think they fancy us really. It’s just their way of flirting,” he told the newspaper. Of course, why didn’t we think of that before?
One Direction haven’t yet commented on the prospect of the fight.
Even if the boys did seriously want to fight One Direction, there is no way their management or their female fans would let them. Although it would be interesting to see who would win!
