Just when we thought Snoop Lion and Miley Cyrus was a bit of a strange collaboration, the rapper reveals he wants to work with Kym Marsh.
And yes that is Kym Marsh, the former Hear’Say singer who is now in Coronation Street following an attempt at a solo music career.
Apparently Snoop is a fan of Kym’s work on Coronation Street.
Well Snoop is a huge fan of the soap, and in particular Kym’s character Michelle Connor, so has asked mutual friend David Gest to make it happen.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Snoop heard David knew Kym, so he asked him to approach her about being in one of his videos.
“David said she used to be in a pop group, so he suggested she could sing on one of his tracks. He spoke to Kym and she loved the idea.”
His latest duet was Ashtrays and Heartbreaks with Miley Cyrus.
The details are yet to be finalised but it sounds as if Snoop is one step closer to making his Corrie-inspired dreams come true.
Speaking about his love for the show he said: “People always think I’m playing when I talk about Coronation Street but I swear it’s my favourite show. They got everything – sex, murder, transsexuals. There ain’t any other show that can touch it.”
