HMV has announced a new exclusive partnership with famous Dublin musical haunt, Whelan’s, for the entertainment retailer’s rewards programme, pureHMV.
PureHMV will see the store team up with the capital’s venue to host exclusive album launches throughout 2015.
Kodaline will help kick things off in style as their brand new album ‘Coming Up For Air’ hits Irish stores next week.
The four-piece enjoyed chart success when debut album, In A Perfect World, went triple platinum album, setting the record as the highest selling Irish album of 2013.
Through pureHMV, the first 400 fans to purchase Kodaline’s new album ‘Coming Up For Air’ at HMV stores located on Grafton Street or Henry Street, will receive one wristband giving them access to the first private acoustic gig at Whelan’s.
As well as wristband access available with album purchases at HMV stores, members of pureHMV will be able to gain priority access to each event.
Kodaline’s ‘Coming Up For Air’ will be released Friday February 6th and the intimate show will take place Saturday February 7th.
PureHMV will also be offering 10 pairs of priority access tickets for fans to have their album signed after the show.
