After a few years away from the spotlight The Kooks are making a triumphant return to the music scene. Last month, the band announced a February date at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and due to phenomenal demand an extra date has been added.Â
The Kooks, consisting of friends Luke Pritchard on vocals and guitar, guitarist Hugh Harris, bassist Pete Denton and drummer Alexis Nunez, are best known for anthems such as Naïve and She Moves In Her Own Way.
The band’s comeback has been met by rave reviews from the critics, after a successful mini tour in May, a surprise slots at Glastonbury and an all-conquering appearance at the Reading and Leeds Festival.
With a rejuvenated sound, this is definitely one gig not to be missed.
Tickets for The Kooks extra date at The Olympia Theatre on Friday 27th February go on sale this Friday October 24th at 9am, and will be available from Ticketmaster.ie.
